Ability is vigilant in identifying trends and issues of interest to people with a disability. One way we do this is through research, especially in the area of disability and technology. It is also a way in which we can make a contribution to the disability community.

PRODUCT TESTING

Ability sources products from anywhere in the world, then evaluates their usefulness for people with a disability.

We look at issues such as:

• What special features does it have?
  
• How well made is it?
  
• How easy is it to set up and use?
  
• Is it cost effective?
  
• How does it compare with alternative products?
